The majority of Americans are struggling and suffering

It’s the United States of Poverty. The American dream died when the middle class died. Wages have decreased, there aren’t enough jobs, and the price of basics have increased. This is not our grandparents America. Back then, anyone who was willing to work could live a decent, comfortable life. But not anymore. The America of our grandparents is dead. Homelessness is a huge crisis that the government completely ignores as if it will just go away. The government won’t do anything to help the millions of homeless Americans, but they’ll spend billions of dollars per day on illegal wars like in Syria. Imagine if billions of dollars per day were spent on making sure every American had a home to sleep in. There are people that work full time jobs and are still homeless, sleeping in their cars, because they can’t afford rent. Sad.
